My Highlight Collection
June 22, 2015
Who doesn't like highlighters? I know right? Highlighters have become one of the essentials products in every woman's purse. it's fun and emphasizes the contour of the cheeks by giving the brow bone shimmer. When I look magazines I get inspired by the many ways you can play and have fun with it. These are some of my favorite thus far in the highlighter department.

I'm going to present you guys my highlighter collection; some of them were limited edition and unfortunately you won't be able to find them in store.
Mac Highlighters:
Freshen up: I like to use it as a Highligther and Blush.
Soft & Gentle: A beautiful Highlighter with a soft pink undertone that gives you a radiant finish.
Pearl: It's a cream highlighter that has a champagne color cast to it.

Light Year: A three shade color highligther with Gold, Soft and Baby Pink colors that turn into a nice light peachy color when mixed together.
Double Definition: This highligther is divided in two, The light one on top is a golden color with a nice color payoff, and the one below can be used as bronzer as well, depending on your skin tone or preference.

Opal by Becca: This is one of their best sellers that has a creamy texture and awesome color payoff.
Mary-Lou Manizer by The Balm: Light champagne-ish color that is perfect for light complexions.
Sun Bunny by Too faced: I use this bronzer as a highligther because I like the shine of it, It's looks like the J-Lo glow that I love. However, when it's winter I dont use it all over the face because it has too much shimmer for my liking.
Indiscretion by Laura Mercier: This one is perfect for summer, and due to its softness it is a good everyday highlighter.

Pearl Dust By Dose of Colors: A Pink baked shimmery Highlighter

21 Snowflake Dreams by Clinique: Shimmery lose powder, perfect for all skin complexion.
01 Hefty Highligh by Clinique: Pink-ish Cream Highlighter, easy to blend.

Lighting Palette by Hourglass: it's a finishing powder. However, it works perfectly as a soft highlighter.

Halo Eye Makeup Look
June 15,2015
Hi there guys,
Today I wanted to explained how I achieved this eye makeup look.

BROWS: I used my trusty Anastasia Bervely Hills dipbrow pomade in "Medium Browm"

EYES:
Primer: "Eyeshadow Primer Potion" by Urban Decay
Transition Area: Haux and Parfait Amaour shadow
Lid: Jumbo Eye Pencil "Milk" by NYX, which I applied using my fingers, then I used an eyeshadow called "Vanilla" by MAC to set the NYX J.E.P and after that I used another eyeshadow called "Digit" by MAC as well, which I applied in pading motion.
Outer and inner corner of my lid: I used "Parfait Amour" & "Beauty Market" by MAC (this color is really dark so try applying it little by little and then I proceed to blend the color to give some dimension to the eye.)

Upper Lash Line: Inglot Eyeliner "Gel No 77", to create a thin line.
Lower Lash Line: Eyeshadow color "Parfait Amour", which I applied with a Flat Definer Brush, then I blended it with a small blending brush, after that I used Beauty Market and repeated the process above.
Water Lime: Urban Decay Glide-ON Eye Pencil in "Empire"
Lashes: Red Cherry Eye Lahes "No. 1"
Mascara:
Top Lashes: "Lash booster mascara" by Pixi.
Bottom lashes: "Bottom lash mascara" 01 Black by Clinique
Bronzer: Smooth Skin Powder color "Sunny" by NYC
Blush: "Iced Lotus" by CLinique
Highligh: Baked Highlighter color "Pearl Dust" by Dose of Color.

Thank you so much guys, I'll see you all in the next one. Bye :)

Cream Lip by Sephora
Jun 5, 2015
Retail Price: $13.00
This product is described as a lip stain that provides beautiful, long-lasting color.
They have two kind of formulas: Matte and Sating finish. They also have a beautiful color selection that has been growing, having 14 lip stain colors at the moment.
Review:
This Lip stain is actually one of my favorite products that I have in my collection.
When I applied this lip stain on my lips it glided on so prefectly...I felt the creaminess on my lips and what I loved the most guys is that is not that steaky, at least for me.
Another thing is that this Lip Stain goes on wet but it sets matte.
As is usual on me, I tried this product for a long period of time and it lasted me 4 hours before fading out in the center of my lips.
I tried it again the next day, I went out for a dinner (had a great time Btw) until my friend noticed that the lip stain got on my chin, something that usually happens to me when I wear a bright color lip color.
Let's now take a look to the one that I bought:
Before proceeding I would like to say how sad I was to realize that all favorite ones were actually Sold Out.
01 Always Red:
It's a red matte finish color with a blue undertone.
This color is super bright, In fact it's so bright that it actually makes your teeths looks whiter, something that we all love.
It has a soft vanilla scent that is almost unnoticeable.

I loved the wand. the size is perfect which makes the application easier to do.

Swatches:
1. Picture taken right after application.

2. Picture after Drying (Matte formula)

I would like to show you my lovies how I do my lips:
1. I use a lip pencil to line my lips, this will make my lip stain application easier and more precise.

2. and this is the final look lovies

Would I recommend this product?
100% Yes.
Thank you so much again guys for reading this Review, which I made with all the love of the world for you.

For me this smokey eye color is one of the most versatile looks there is.
Let's get started! :)
Step 1:
Pick a color, I chose the eyeshadow color "Cork" by Mac which i will apply three times.

Eyeshadow's first application

Eyeshadow's second application

Eyeshadow's third application

Step 2:
I chose the eyeshadow color "Embark" by Mac which i will blend together with the first eyeshadow i picked. There will be 2 applications using this eyeshadow.
Embark's eyeshadow first application

Embark's eyeshadow shadow application

Step 3:
Eyeshadow "Satin Taupe" by Mac

Let's apply it to our Eyelid

Step 4:
I chose the eyeshadow "Vapour" by Mac

We will now proceed to apply it in our Brow bone, this will give you a beautiful highlight in this area.

Step 5:
Next color I picked is called "Nylon" by Mac, which will be applyed in the inner corner of the eye. I used a brush #219 by Mac.

Step 6:
I used the eyeshadow "Embark" for the lower lash line

Step 7:
I used an Inglot brush #30T to create a Pin Up Wing.

Step 8:
I have a little trick that i learned from Makeup Geek which consist in using an gel eyeliner (in this case will be #77 by Inglot) and an Eye pencil.
Dip the pencil into the gel eyeliner, remove the excess and apply it.

Application

Let's now apply some blush with this Large Angled Contour Brush #168 by Mac

Here is a picture with products that I also used for this look.

Mac Wash and Dry High-Light
Powder
May 22,2015
Hi there :)
My sweetheart had the cutest gesture with me fiance by getting me this Mac highlighter which by the way is already sold out online, crazy right?
High-light Powder's First Impression
Retail for $35.50

*Packaging has an awesone gradient effect with teal, red and yellow hues that highlights the package.

*This high-lighter is one of the most popular product of this collection.
* Even tho packaging is nice, It has a plastiky feeling that I must say I don't really love.

*This highlighter has a gold overspray that will fade out after few applications, leaving only a soft sheen.
*It has three different colors, a light pink with yellow undertone, a peachy color and a golden yellow.
*What I like about it is that is very pigmented but is not that shimery.
*It definitely works pretty well as a highlighter for medium and dark complexion, for my lovies with fair and light complexion I would suggest to wear it as a shinnery blush.
Swatches:

1. The first one is a light pink with yellow undertone
2. Second one has a peachy tone,
3. Third one is golden-yellow color
4. My last swach is a blend of the three colors that has an orangye cast to it.
Would I recommend this product?
Yes I would, even though it has it's pros and cons regarding skin tones, I would definitely recommend it.
Thank you so much guys for reading this First Impression Review.

Rose Powder Blush by MilaniL.A
May 18, 2015
Retail for $7.99 each
Hi guys, I hope you had a awesome week.
I want to talk about these beautiful blushes. I bought them few months ago when they only were a Limited Collection which by the way "So difficult to find in stock" in the drugstores.
I know I know that it would've been much easier just to get them online but to be honest with you guys I am not the kind of person that likes to wait for goodies to arrive.
Lucky for all of us these babies are now a permanent collection for 2015.

I would like to start by saying that the packing is the first thing that caught my eye. It actually has a clear cover where you can see through the blush color with a beautiful rose sculpted surrendered by a gold border that gives a delicate touch and that is something that I really liked about it, they just look beautiful in my makeup blush drawer as well.
Lets talk about the product:
These two blushes have a matte texture, they are in fact very pigmented and it feels really silky at the touch.
Product review:
Tea Rose: Is a beautiful soft pink shade. The color payoff is really good and it has just the perfect amount of color. It won't be extremely strong in your cheeks even if you are a hard handle person.

Romantic Rose: Is a pretty pink - mauve shade. Is a matte texture that in my opinion is a little dry formula, a good example of it is that It didn't swatched well in my arm. But don't get me wrong guys, this color is perfect for light skin tone.
Would I recomend this products? Yes, as far as price and product quality they are decently good.

L.A Splash Cosmetics
Lip Couture Review
May 15, 2015
Hello guys. today I want to talk about this Lip Couture. I bought it when I went to Imats - New York 2015.
My friend introduced me this liquid lipstick and I wanted to give it a try so I picked four of them, the colors I chose are pretty easy to wear, except for one, which is Malevolent (a vampy color).
Let's star with the review, shall we?
Lip Couture Review
It comes in 17 shades and reatails for $11.98.
These are described as a rich waterproof shade, that will leave a velvety, matte finish that never transfers.

It's a lipgloss packing with a gold cap that has the name also printed in gold color, which makes the packing look pretty and sleek. It also has the typical lipgloss applicator but is actually kind of difficult to use because the wand is long and flat. In other words If you have thin lips, you may have some problems trying to applying it to your lips, another thing I noticed is that is difficult to line your lips with it.
The color payoff is great, except for the Malevolent one...again.
These liquid lipsticks works great with a lip liner underneath, in fact can even create another color shade or difine your lips as well.
I have tried this for several days, each one in different occasions, just to test the longivity of the product which really surprised me, because i wore it for almots eight hours, and believe me, that's a lot of hours for me, bottom line is that it din't smuge on me even though I ate. So it really is waterproof as they claim.
One thing i did not like though was that once applyed to your lips it can actually have a tendency to settle on the fine lines of your lips, for this reason I would recomend using a lip primer.
When the liquid lipstick dries out it feels a bit stiky but that is totally normal for this kind of products.
The only thing that kind of bothers me is the scent, and I'm not the type of person that cares about it ,when I frist applied on my lips I felt this chemical kinda smell but once it dries out, you don't feel it anymore.
Colors description:
Ghoulish: Is a light mouve color with a touch of grey, the color payoff is really good.

Charmed: Is a nude pink, with cool undertone. The color payoff is awesome, and the application went really smooth, I noticed streaky lines when i did my swatch but it actually looked amazing on my lips.

Nymph - Adora: Is a mauve color with warm undertone, very very pigmented. It is in fact my favorite color but it didn't swatch as nice as it looks on my lips.

Malevolent: Is a dark red with blue undertone. It has a bad color payoff; I had to apply several layers to get an even finish, Streaky lines shown on both lips and arm swatchs.
Wamp was actually different than the rest.

Tips:
Use a lip balm or primer to help the liquid lipstick glides easily.
For malevolent liquid lipstik: I would highly recomend using a lip liner .
To remove this product: Use any oil based makeup remover.

Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Eyeshadow Palette by Tarte
May 11, 2015
Hi there.
I wanna start out by saying that this is my first post as a blogger, I am sure that this is going to be a such a great adventure for me where I am going to learn date by date and post by post how to be the strongest version of myself and be a good blogger that you guys will enjoy read and comment about.
That being said :) let's talk about Makeup
This gorgeous palette retails for $44 and contains 12 exclusive eyeshadows, all of them in matte colors, natural shades between neutrals, warm and cool tones from the lighest to the darkest shades.

Even though this is an awesome palette, I must say that some shadows doesn't show the true color (best friend), it actually changes once you apply it to your eyelid, I used them with and without base to see the diference but with the same result. In fact some colors can be a little powdery but that ussually happens with matte colors.
These shadows are smooth and creamy enought but if you have dry eyelids I would recomend you to use an eye cream and also a primer to help your application go smoothly.
You can create versatile looks, like every day makeup, smokey eyes, cut crease, monocrome looks, etc. Those are the main reason why this palette has become one of my favorites.
Lets talk about The packaging:

Is the signature color of Tarte which are purple and gold. This packaging looks pretty durable to me. I've got this palette for three months already and even though I have traveled with it, you can barely see few scratches, but the actual body is still intact wich it is good for me.
The back of the palette is a glossy gold where you can actually see your reflection in it, finger prints are visible as well but i don't really mind, Another thing that I like is the fact that it comes with a big size mirror which is plus for me.
What I also like about this packaging is that the name of each shadow is actually printed, because I am sure that you guys don't like when the name of the shadow does not come printed in the actual packaging, instead it's printed in the plastic sheet cover that can easly get missplaced.
Division wise this Palette is divided in three rows according to each color family, which means that you can create a look with each row, but hey! I like to break the rules and come up with my own creation, It all depends on your preferences.
Let's now proceed with the Color description:
First Row:
Free spirit: Is a light cream yellow base, It can be a little bit powdery.
For light skin tone I would recomend to use a white base, because it won't show at all if you don't.
Force of nature: Is a medium brown with red undertone that has a decent pigmentation and it's not powdery to me.
Dreamer: Is a medium warm brown color with a yellow undertone. The pigmentation is great and easy to blend.
Multi-tasker: Is a dark chocolate brown with red undertone, a little bit goes a long way.

Second Row:
Caregiver: Is a soft baby pink with blueish undertone. The texture is creamy and easy to blend.
Natural Beauty: Is a light mauve color and warm undertone. I din't have any fall out in my face and the pigmentation is very nice.
Best friend: Is a dark mauve color with cool undertone. I had so much trouble with this color because It's powdery and chulky, and you really need to pack the color on and at the end you come up with a totally different color than the one showing in the palette.
Bombshell: is a dark plum one with a great color pay off, it's so creamy and easy to blend, I love it!

Third Row:
Super Mom: Is an ivory color, with great pigmentation and creamy texture.
Wanderer: Is a medium warm brown with good pigmentation, a bit powdery for my taste though, but still easy to blend.
Power player: Is a taupe color betwen brown and gray with smooth consistency. The color pay off is really good and easy to work with.
Fashionista: Is a deep black color, actually the most pigmented shadow in the palette.
The texture is creamy and easy to blend.

I would now like to show you guys a few looks that I came up with by using this palette, going row by row for the first three looks and a fourth one using a combination of most of the colors.
